About Nana
Suci Lestari Yuana is a Lecturer in the Department of International Relations at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia. With a Ph.D. from the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht University, her research explores digital platforms, governance innovation, sustainability transitions, and the socio-political dimensions of technological change, particularly in the Global South. Her doctoral work, titled Contestation, Conflict, and Crisis in Transition, delved into ridesharing's embeddedness in Indonesia's urban mobility landscape.

As the founder of the STAIR (Sciences, Technology, and Arts in International Relations) Community Indonesia and Managing Editor of the Global South Review Journal, Yuana champions interdisciplinary approaches to International Relations. She has contributed significantly to understanding circular economy practices, AI colonialism, and feminist participatory research. Her publications span peer-reviewed journal articles, edited volumes, and policy briefs.

Yuana is also a recognized thought leader, serving as an external advisor for the Alliance for Online Taxi Drivers in Indonesia and a member of the Akademi Ilmuwan Muda Indonesia (ALMI). Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, Balinese, and advanced in English, she combines academic rigor with impactful community engagement, fostering sustainable and inclusive innovation pathways.
