Aidy is a visionary socio-economic scientist and social entrepreneur committed to open opportunities for marginalized communities to participate in just transition. As the founder of Just Transition Indonesia, she leverages her deep expertise in socio-environmental finance, transition planning, and investment to turn groundbreaking ideas into reality. Driven by a passion for creating value and making a positive impact, Aidy excels at building networks and developing innovative solutions to address pressing social and environmental needs. She holds a PhD and is a leader in a just transition to a sustainable future.

As Founder & Executive Director, Aidy led a World Bank-funded study on the "Social Dimensions of Coal Just Transition in Indonesia," providing deep qualitative baseline analyses and recommendations for coal-dependent provinces like South Sumatra and East Kalimantan. She also developed a value for money framework for the UK FCDO's Forest Land Use Governance (FLAG) Program to fulfill impact-level assumptions in their theory of change.

Acting as a Consultant, Aidy prepared a fiscal policy options paper for the energy sector that addressed fossil fuel subsidies, renewable energy, and energy efficiency. Additionally, she supported the establishment of Indonesia's National Designated Authority (NDA) to meet the Green Climate Fund's expectations by drafting the necessary procedures and policies.
with High-Level Multilateral Organizations (UNFCCC, UN-DESA, ADB, ODI)
Aidy has served as a technical consultant and lead economist across various global institutions. Her contributions include analyzing financial data for the UNFCCC, drafting global sustainable finance guidance for UN-DESA, leading the SDG finance chapter update for the ADB and AFD, and evaluating the £3.87 billion UK International Climate Fund with the Overseas Development Institute.

While her professional life is highly analytical, Aidy's core drive lies in developing systemic, locally led solutions. She is passionate about integrating gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI) into climate action. Furthermore, she actively contributes to the global academic discourse, having published several peer-reviewed papers on climate finance coordination, donor allocation, and the political economy of renewable energy.
