This project addresses the unique challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in Indonesia's climate and clean energy sectors, focusing on issues like limited access to finance and support networks, and investment opportunities, further exacerbated by geographical disparities.

Women's Permaculture for Just Transition & Economic Resilience in Bengalon

In East Kutai, coal mining's decline endangers dependent communities. This work focuses on fostering sustainable alternatives and empowering residents, particularly women who often face disproportionate impacts from economic transitions, to navigate the shift away from fossil fuel dependence.

The Integrated Leadership, Program Excellence, and Team Synergy workshop was a training delivered to a partner organization that moves beyond siloed skills to offer an integrated learning journey. The workshop embedded equity, inclusivity, and systemic thinking principles, ensuring that the learning is applicable to the organizational mission and complex ecosystem.

Youth Lead Youth Change Mentorship Program (YLYC)

YLYC aims to build a sense of resilience and belonging in young refugees by equipping them with useful skills to adapt to different environments and life settings. The long term goal is to develop the next generation of leaders who come from displacement backgrounds. JTI co-led the Structured Learning Module with Design Ethnography Lab, Institut Teknologi Bandung.

Transition Living Lab 
2025 Program (TLL)

TLL is an upskilling program designed for displaced youth in London, UK, and Cisarua, Indonesia. The program centers on participant-led live projects where attendees engage directly with the material through practice. The curriculum follows a social innovation structure guided by the Double Diamond design framework and focuses on topics selected by participants.

Understanding forest revenue and just transition in land use sector

This project assesses how the Indonesian government collects and shares revenue from the country's forests. As part of the UK's Forest Governance, Markets and Climate (FGMC) programme, the study provides a vital baseline for a new 10-year initiative focused on fairer forest governance.

Mekarya: Building Food Resilience for Hospitality Workers in Bali

Mekarya is a food security project based in Gianyar, Bali, that works directly with local communities to build food resilience through chicken farming. The project focuses on workers employed in Bali's hospitality industry whose incomes can be unpredictable due to seasonal tourism or external shocks.

The project works directly with small businesses, local workers, and vocational schools in Banyuwangi and Karangasem to understand how climate change - such as heat, floods, and unpredictable weather - affects their daily lives and work.

The project aims to introduce degrowth as a concept and invite a discussion on its potential as an alternative framework for thinking about development and just transition in Indonesia, and the broader concept of growth, justice, and sustainability.

Energy Efficiency Revolving Fund

This study has proposed the design of an Energy Efficiency Revolving Fund (EERF). The EERF is designed as a programmatic intervention that leverages Indonesia's existing financial institutions and aggregates fragmented market demand. The proposed architecture of the EERF is divided into three tailored tiers to match the scale of different projects.
