Strategic areas
Transition economy
The transition to a sustainable, equitable economy is at the heart of our mission. We're committed to powering this just transition by driving systemic shifts in key sectors, catalyzing the shift away from extractive, carbon-intensive models towards regenerative, community-centric systems. Through innovative policies, incentives, and market mechanisms, we're working to build an economy that works for people and the planet.
Transition planning
Strategic, collaborative transition planning is crucial to navigating complex economic transformations. Our team partners with governments, businesses, and communities to map pathways forward, identify barriers, and co-create roadmaps for a resilient, inclusive transition. By blending data-driven analysis with on-the-ground insights, we develop tailored transition plans that address the unique needs and aspirations of each context.
Transition leadership
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to values-driven, participatory leadership. We believe the transition must be guided by the wisdom and agency of frontline communities, workers, and marginalized groups. Through capacity building, skills training, and platforms for collective action, we're empowering diverse stakeholders to step into transition leadership roles. By centering equity, inclusion, and regeneration, we're charting a new model of transition governance.
Transition finance
Unlocking the necessary capital to fund the transition is a key pillar of our work. We pioneer innovative financing solutions - from green bonds and blended finance to community investment funds - that redirect capital flows towards sustainable, equitable ventures. Alongside this, we advocate for policy reforms and market incentives that align the financial system with transition goals. Our aim is to reshape the rules of the game to better support a just, prosperous transition.
